The Valley Nerd Watch!

The Global Game Jam is this weekend, and at the Another Castle co-working space in Greenfield folks have been spending the past dozens of hours making interesting games!

You can find all of the games made by our friendly neighborhood game developers here: https://globalgamejam.org/2018/jam-sites/another-castle-codev/games! They range from an abstract strategy board game to a virtual reality mirror-puzzle game! The thing that’s always neat about game jams is that the intense time restriction forces people to produce something that might be unpolished but is also representative of a thing that they thought would be neat to see in the world unfiltered by the realities of a development cycle.

It’s well worth your time to give them all a shot. And check out Another Castle if you’re looking for a place to work! They’re all nice, we’re pretty sure!

Speaking of local game developers, https://m.twitch.tv/actualplay has Epidiah playing Wolfspell this morning, if you’re reading this in the morning. Check it out!

Also our brief Evil Within 2 review: It was a good horror game that was scary until we had successfully yakety-sax stabbed enough zombie-alikes. It could have used more variety or a shorter playtime, but it is worth a go if you’re into horror/action.

Go check out the Valley Creators page! As always, be sure to check out our Patreon! And don’t forget to check out the updated Book Clubs List!
