January 6th – 12th

It’s 2020, the year we all get to be really freaked out in a more acute manner about our ongoing nightmare politics! Fair Fight is a good place to donate to, because Republican legislators tend to lose fair elections. Protest, donate, help out where you can.

On a happier note: check out the PVGD Holiday Party tonight at The Quarters [8 Railroad St., Hadley, MA] at 7:00PM – 9:00PM! It’ll be a ton of fun, they’re good folks.

“WE’RE TRYING THIS AGAIN SINCE THE LAST ONE GOT POSTPONED!

Come gather ’round the old arcade cabinet and help us spread cheer and good tidings as we look back at 2019 and raise a glass to the future. The event starts at 7pm. We’ll give a brief presentation, and then crank up the projector and play some “Super Smash Bros Ultimate” and more.

This year we’re also going to try our first yankee gift swap! This is completely optional, but if you’d like to participate please READ THE INFO BELOW!

This event is open to all so please spread the word.

YANKEE GIFT SWAP (OPTIONAL)!!!

“Have you ever wondered who of your favorite fictional characters would win in a fight? Would the Yeti or Robin Hood come out on top? King Arthur or Medusa? Sinbad or Alice? HOW DOES BRUCE LEE FIT INTO ALL OF THIS?! Unmatched: Battle of Champions is a bonkers attempt to answer this very question! In Unmatched, you have a hero and possibly some minions running around a board taking actions. Your characters are almost entirely controlled by their own unique deck of cards and each has a unique and staggeringly intuitive play style. I have to say, I was knocked out by this game! It plays fast and I felt clever even when I was getting my butt kicked across the board! Watch It Played Teaches Unmatched! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdzLJDl0qk8 So come on out and let’s get the nerdy new year off the ground! I’ll be the one with the pretzel! See you on Thursday!”
